Please be sure to read this before using. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Printer Driver Version 5.25.9.0 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. If originals which include thin lines are printed to make them enlarged, the line width may vary. 2. Restriction in printing from Internet Explorer When an attempt to print a job is made from the Internet Explorer to the MFP when its department management is ON, the Internet Explorer sometimes does not respond if a correct department code is not entered in a printer driver. This problem will occur in an Internet Explorer (installed in a 32-bit OS) or a 64-bit Internet Explorer (installed in a 64-bit OS). This will not be reproduced in an Internet Explorer 11 (32- and 64-bit unified), a 32-bit Internet Explorer (installed in a 64-bit OS) and other browsers. When the department management of this equipment is enabled, be sure to enter the correct department code in a printer driver in advance. Or, when an attempt to print a page of an external Internet site is made from the Internet Explorer, register the applicable site to [Trusted sites] in the [Security] tab of [Internet Options] and then restart the Internet Explorer. 3. Restrictions in the printer name of a printer driver If the printer name is changed to one with 90 digits or more, the spooler stops after the computer has been rebooted. The printer name should be entered in less than 90 digits. Be sure to repeat uninstallation and installation of the printer driver with an installer by changing the printer name to a shorter one until the driver is installed appropriately. 4. Restriction in Status Monitor When the equipment has a status monitor for e-STUDIO18 or e-STUDIO2505, e-STUDIO2006/2306/2506 installed, this cannot be started together with the status monitor already in the equipment. Do not start both status monitors at the same time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scanner Driver Version 5.25.2.0 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. When the original mode is set to [Text] or [Text/Photo], the adjustment value is not correctly reflected in the preview image, but is so in the actual image. 2. When you use Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2012 R2, install Desktop Experience via Administrative Tools in advance. (1) Start > Administrative Tools > Server Manager (2) Click [Add Features]. (3) Select the [Desktop Experience] checkbox and click the [Next] button. (4) Click the [Install] button. (5) When installation results are displayed, click the [Close] button. (6) When you are asked if you want to restart your computer, click the [Yes] button to restart. 3. If scanning of a large amount of multiple pages with images in one go from Microsoft Clip Organizer is attempted, it may fail. In this case, divide the pages to scan them separately or scan them from other applications. 4. Restriction in setting Saturation in TWAIN Driver When the saturation in a TWAIN driver is changed to the plus direction, the right-hand color boxes indicated by the red frame are not altered. However, it is reflected in the preview and actual scanned images. 5. In scanning with this equipment, color and gray scale images may not be scanned from Microsoft Office Document Imaging / Microsoft Office Document Scanning depending on the Service Pack version. For Office 2007, directly scan the images from “Clip Organizer”. For Office 2003, from an Office application. 6. Restriction in connecting a USB port When remote scanning is performed with a USB cable connected to a USB port on the front of some PCs, "Failed to read data" appears and scanning may fail.
